If you, like me, find a few animals here you’re not familiar with and wonder if they are real, please be assured that when possible I have checked to make sure they’re not photo-shopped. There are a couple animals, indicated below, where I couldn’t identify the animal enough to tell if it was real. I welcome any info provided.
Also, I have to admit, I had a bit of a problem keeping the breaks on the cuteness/funny quotient for these animal pics. But don’t give up, I’m sure you’ll find something that pleases you.
What did I tell you?
Blue jaguar. This is real.
Baby gorilla
Baby gibbon

Another cat acting like a cat.
Cats aren’t the only ones that like hanging out in amusing ways.

This Clouded Leopard is real.
This Netherland Dwarf rabbit is real.
This Genet is real.
Mangalitsa or Mangalica is a rare breed of pig of Hungarian origin that has curly hair over its body,.. The fleece can be black, or red, but is most commonly blond. It’s real.
Is this maybe just a furry little mouse? or guinea pig?
Could this be an albino beaver or porcupine?
Could the color of this snail be real?
I know frogs come in amazing colors, but this? Is it real?
Not sure what this is.
Over-worked opossum Mom.
The little ground squirrel had probably eaten too much and stayed in his cave entrance stuck.
Dusky—you know our soft spots so well! I could watch these animals for hours—forgetting anything I was supposed to be doing! Thanks! L.
I so appreciate and enjoy your collections. Thanks!!
I loved these photos – thank you so much! Carol
Excellent, Thank You…
Love your site. Please keep it going!
The unidentified kitten with the black nose looks like a baby serval. Every photo makes me smile, thanks
Once again , Excellent work !!! Thank You..
BEAUTIFUL, as usual!!
So sweet
great again, dusky! the person holding the hedgehog was very brave. the hedgehogs are very prickly. I know; I’ve held one–with gloves.
I also think the turtle/tortoise was very lucky she didn’t have to nurse her numerous little ones!
Good point about the turtle Jean. They have hedgehogs in Germany and Jeremy picked one up with his bare hands to move it out of the path it was in so it wouldn’t get hurt. He managed to get the prickers going in one direction–not into his hands. Lucky you to have held one. I”m jealous. They are so cute.
Adorable! 😀
Close to the middle you say “not sure what this is” under a picture. It looks like baby Serval to me. Please look up Serval kittens, you’ll see.
Yes, that sure looks like a serval. Thanks for the tip.
I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR ALL I HAVE SEEN HERE NOW.
Marvellous!
Those were cool. I think the eye with white around it belongs to an owl. The kagaroo with the bird feeder was too funny. And the frog with blue balls for throat pouches? Crazy! I’d say the purple snail exists if it was on this “Wonder” site.
