As you can tell by the title, this is the 5th post on birds–not counting a couple entries about specific species.  Each time I publish a bird post I am sure I must have exhausted all the most spectacular bird species and photographs.  Once again I find more to share.  I hope you enjoy and at the end, if you don’t want to stop, you can follow the links to all the previous bird entries.

  1. Looking at these beautifully clicked photographs it reconfirms that the God is the greatest artist. What colors and combination!
The photographers deserve highest appreciation for their patience and split second response in capturing the amazing photographs.
    thanks for sharing.

  2. Beautiful pictures, as always!

Let me see if I can put names to some of the unlabeled photographs: pic 2: Roseate Spoonbill, 3: tufted puffin, 4: Black Swan, 13: Secretarybird (I think), 19: Yellow Warbler, 20: Burrowing owl, 26: Scops owl, 29: chick of some kind of plover, 33: bluebirds, 34: Gold and House finches, 47: Paradise Tanager (I think), 56: burrowing owls again, 60: Atlantic Puffin, 64: Red-tailed Hawk and I think that picture looks photoshopped, 66: Ostrich. I sure hope I didn’t make any mistakes.

Also, that King Bird-of-Paradise, the grayish fan-like things are just decorative feathers. Its wings are red and folded on his back.

Thanks so much for all these gorgeous pictures. They are simply wonderful 🙂
