More birds.  Who knew birds could exhibit endless colors, shapes, attitudes, situations or perfect, precise moments caught by gifted and patient photographers.  Don’t miss the video at the end.  It’s worth the time, I promise.  And please don’t forget to share your favorites.

  1. Wow I love all of these! I love birds… so amazing. If I had to pick favorites, I really like the Blond-crested Woodpecker, the blue bird in the twelfth pic down, Amethyst Starling, Great Tit flying at the camera, Orange Bishop, and the Green Finches with the cherry… 🙂

  2. Glad you like them, Iva. I remember you are way more knowledgeable about birds than I am. But the variety is truly amazing even when I don’t know the names (unless some website tells me.)

  3. I did not know so many varieties of beautiful birds existed! Hats off to the almighty who created them.

Thanks to Cornell lab, the photographers for their excellent photography and you dusky made my day seeing the video too.

Pressure on their natural habitat by human beings , encroaching on the forests world over we will loose them all and future generations will be real looser who will have these photographs to make them believe that these beautiful birds existed.

  4. Изумительно, прекрасно, как все гармонично у этих птиц.

  5. Thanks so much for sharing these awesome pictures of so many beautiful birdies! They are really amazing beings!

  6. These are incredible photos!!!!! Is there anyway I can get a jpg of the blue heron with red winged blackbird? What is the cost?
