Don’t forget to notice and appreciate the amazing structural, cultural, geographic and aesthetic variety of bridges we humans have devised.  And also roads and paths, of course.

  1. More wonderful wonders! These are magnificent! Thank you so much, Dusky, for continuing to provide us with such amazing beauty.

  2. Great! All the ancient and modern creation proves one thing and that the human beings are adapt at using the locally available materials to over come problems of crossing the waterways or making pathways. The inherent artistic bend is seen in all the bridges either old or modern. Some of them are awesome like the one in Afghanistan. All of the photographs bring out the beauty of the bridges, pathways and nature. thanks.

Thank you!

  5. Lovely pictures! I’ve been trying to find the source of the Humpback Covered Bridge picture because it gets pinned a lot and it’s actually in Virgina.
